A warm welcome to the Fixby Junior & Infant School website from the pupils, staff and Governors.
It gives me great pleasure to be Head teacher of a proud, hard-working, harmonious Learning Community built upon trust, aspiration and achievement.
Mrs CL Allen
Fixby Junior and Infant School opened in 1977 and educates pupils between the ages of 5 and 11. We are a community school with approximately 314 pupils on roll. We firmly believe that by building strong partnerships with parents and families we are able to 'work together and achieve together'.

At Fixby, we aim to provide all our children with a challenging and stimulating education within the security of a warm and caring learning environment. We aim to promote excellence and to celebrate achievement by involving children in their learning objectives through close contact with parents, governors and community, and by ensuring a safe, hard-working atmosphere in which all children can develop positive attitudes to their work. We are committed to providing positive role models and a prejudice free school community. We embrace all cultures, faiths and ethnic groups, valuing diversity.
Our next event will be the Macmillan Coffee Morning for the children on Friday 30th September.
Please feel free to help by baking and donation buns. Children can bring a small donation for Macmillan.
